Angels

"From ArchAngels to Earth Angels,

from Seraphim to Elohim,

They rise & fall to heed the call

to surround us in Their Love"

~Sacryfice~

There are myriad of Angels, Guides & Messengers that are available to each one of us if only we open our mind enough to allow Them in. I'd like to share some of Them with you here. I work with many different Guides of many different natures. Once I opened my Life & Heart to the Higher/Celestial Guides available, They were more than ready to reveal ThemSelf to me and get down to work. Hopefully I can help you too...to open your Life & Heart to some of these wonderful energies that are just waiting on the side-lines for you to lift the veil and allow them in.

Defining...

How do you define an Angel? It's like trying to put stardust in a cage...it can't be done. There are so many different variations on Angels, for each person percieves Angels in their own way. There are as many different perspectives and views on Angels as there are humans on this Planet...and it should be kept that way. I'm not going to try and sway anybody one way or another in my discussion of Angelic Beings, through my opening to working with these lovely entities I have learned that They come in myriad forms...from Shadows to Lights....from Sound to Physical forms....They come however each individual will best be able to allow Them in and understand Them. From the Western Traditions of "Angels" to the Eastern Tradition of "Dakini's"....They're here to help and Guide you in your evolutionary human process and hope only to help you Transcend into All that you are. They want to help you find your own Light within...and are here to Guide you each step of the way...if only you listen with your Heart.

The first step is to accept that "anything is possible". To believe in the Powers of Angelic Beings, is to believe in infinite possiblilies...in magic...in miracles...in mysticism. The next step is to accept that you are worthy of Their attention. If you do not believe that you too are worthy to recieve Celestial Guidance, then how can They come to you? One need not be "gifted" or "special" to speak to the Celestials...one need only to be open to recieve Them. To Them, you are All "special & gifted" Souls.  It is also important to remember that These Beings are Universal...are Spiritual and know no boundaries and lay no conditions on Their Love. This is beyond Their understanding and not of Their nature. So in accepting Them, do so without expectations or definition...anything other than an unconditional acceptance will only suffocate them or drive them away.

Angelic Beings are in your life to bring forth many types of lessons you need to endure to achieve your own "transcendence" and come to your own understanding of All That Is.  They will usher in obstacles of all kinds, They will bring Truth to Light, They will bring imagery and trickery in the name of Love. Angelic Beings come in many guises...so again, the acceptance of "anything is possible" must be within you. Never underestimate the power of the Angelic Ones or the infinate possibilities They usher in. Once you "let go" and Trust your Higher Self/Power & Guides...then you are allowing Love to flow in and be your Guide as well.

Close your eyes, open your mind, find your quiet place and Welcome the Angelic Ones into your Heart...and feel Their energy flow into you....feel the hair on your arms raise in Their presence...feel your Heart runneth over with Love...and start a new relationship with Your Self and The Angelic Ones...to Seek Your Own Truth and Light Within.

Dakini

The Dakini's

******

"The teaching of the whispered lineage is the Dakini's breath"

******

There are a couple of different meanings of Dakini. They can be

viewed as a Spiritual Mentor, Spiritual Channell, or

the Human Angels here to aid mankind in

their Spiritual Walk.

There are also the Sky Dancer Dakini's,

the Celestial Beings that are Guides to

many seeking Enlightenment.

They are those that place the obstacles before us,

testing our Will, Strength and Integrity.

They are those that make us earn that which we seek.

The walk with the Dakini is a difficult one as

they chop through every last speck of ego one

might have in them. They burn away the past that

haunts us and make us walk through our own

cremation grounds. They make one face their fears,

pains and sorrows....so we may walk a Lighter & Brighter Path.

They may be harsh and appear horrific and heartless....

but both those of the Earthly Nature

and those of the Celestial Nature,

 do all they do,

out of Divine Love.

On the Dakini

The Dakini is a female being, generally of volatile temperament, who acts as a muse for spiritual practice.

Many stories of the Mahasiddha in Tibet contain passages where a Dakini will come to perturb the would-be Mahasiddha. When the Dakini's test has been fulfilled and passed, the practitioner is often then recognised as a Mahasiddha, and often is elevated into the Paradise of the Dakinis, a place of enlightened bliss.

It should be noted that while a Dakini is often depicted as beautiful and naked, they are seen not sexual symbols, but as symbols of natural humans. There are instances where a Dakini has come to test a practitioner's control over his or her sexual desires, but the Dakini itself is not a being of passion. A more common symbolism is that the nakedness represents the freedom from all obscuration and defilements.

The Chinese and Tibetan terms for dakini literally mean "she who travels in the sky"; this is sometimes rendered poetically as "sky dancer" or "sky walker". Invariably, their bodies are depicted curved in sinuous dance poses.

******

Iconographic representations tend to show the dakini as a young, naked figure in a dancing posture, often holding a skull cup filled with menstrual blood or the elixir of life in one hand, and a curved knife in the other. She may wear a garland of human skulls, with a trident staff leaning against her shoulder. Her hair is usually wild and hanging down her back, and her face often wrathful in expression, as she dances on top of a corpse, which represents her complete mastery over ego and ignorance. Practitioners often claim to hear the clacking of her bone adornments as the dakinis indulge in their vigorous movement.

******

Understanding the Dakini

Superficially the Dakini embodies the spirit of female wrath, she appears to dance in a wild frenzy, bent on destruction chaos and transformation. She is naked except for a necklace of skulls around her neck. The skulls are those of her slain victims. In her right hand she holds a vajra or knife. In the left she caries a skullcup, it is filled with blood which she drinks. In most images of the Dakini she is seen dancing on the corpse of a human.

For those beings who find violence and anger attractive and are attached to such states they may mistakenly see in the Dakini a glorification of wrathful violence, particularly as manifest in the female form. To view the Dakini on either level is to miss her teaching.

The Dakini are not bent on mindless destruction or chaos for its own sake The wrath they embody is towards their own states of anger, greed and delusion, which they and their practitioners seek to cut out and transform. Great energy and determination is needed to achieve this and the violent imagery used shows the energy necessary to cut out the roots of ignorance, greed and delusion.

Just as St George cuts the head of the dragon in icons throughout Christendom, so the Dakini severs the heads of beings who are none other than her own demons. To see the Dakini as a being who revels in anger or violence for its own sake is to misunderstand the imagery. Hers is not a glorification of anger and violence but a transformation of it.

******

The literal translation of Dakini is "Sky Dancer".
The Western form for Dakinis are Angels. If you believe in or have curiosity about Angels, well Dakinis immediately follow. The Western idea of an Angel being a beautiful celestial being who flies in the sky and who sometimes comes to earth to provide inspiration and support to us mortals is very similar to the Dakinis.

******

Generally when they are referred to in Buddhist literature it is assumed they are devoted to the Truth (Dharma). But the broader meaning of the word is a female (males are called Dakas) spirit who has some freedom but is still bound by their past actions. Thus there are good Angels and bad (or simply confused) Angels.

******

Thus there are worldy Dakinis who are malicious and use their powers to confuse us, to arouse passions that are destructive, and who use their charms for their own selfish purposes. Dakinis can manifest on earth in human form or take birth as a human. These are then called "worldly Dakinis" .

******

Dharma Dakinis are devoted to a higher purpose and so their actions are generally positive. But it is hard to generalize the actions of Dharma Dakinis since they aim to break our rabid fixation on concrete thoughts. Dharma Dakinis are not afraid to use their powers to dazzle us, arouse us out of our sleep of habits, and seduce us onto a path of truth. Dakinis are tricky, capricious, and unpredictable. We're in trouble when the Dakini disrupts our mind with magic, breaks our habitual thought patterns with the miraculous, or simply opens our hearts with mad adoration. Messengers between our earthly realm and the higher realms of the teachers, they help to bring the powerful teachings to earth, protect the truth from destructive forces, and bring blessings to sincere seekers. The natural result is to fall in love with a Dakini or Angel. How can you avoid falling in love with someone who inspires wild love and higher meaning suffused with delight?

Fixate on that pleasure and the Dakini does the most compassionate thing possible. They fly away. Dakinis do not manifest simply for our pleasure. Dakinis manifest the beauty of the Truth which is then an invitation to follow the path of Truth. Sky Dancers help us through vision and inspiration. But although we can be greatly inspired by a Dakini (another word is Muse), they will only come back if we put into action what they have shown us.

In that regard a Dakini's love is unswerving and always compassionate. It doesn't matter if we wait a few hours or a few lifetimes to put our inspiration into action. Miracles occur but sometimes it takes years to fully realize the implications. When we do realize or remember, our hearts open, and again the magic and majesty of the universe is open to us. The Dakinis celebrate the Truth and our resolve to work for it in a most extraordinary way. They dance in the sky.
